Default To ALL Vietnam Veterans

Thanks for thinking of us Jay. Don't ever forget what you and your brothers did to show the world who we are.

At 6:00 p.m. last night in Stockbridge, Jawjah I had the privilege of being at the opening ceremonial of opening of a "Traveling Wall" that has 58,256 names inscribed on it. During the ceremony there were singers, Medal of Honor winners, Congressmen and other speakers all speaking praise on those that the wall honors. One of the speakers stood out, retired Colonel Ben Purcell. Colonel Purcell was a POW in North Vietnam before returning to America to eventually command a Brigade of American Soldiers so his qualifications spoke for themselves. Col. Purcell spoke of why America does what it does. He said that America does what no other nation has done before but that when we stop doing it we will find ourselves a defeated nation. America, the good Colonel said went to Vietnam as well as Europe, Japan, Korea, Kuwait, Afganistan and Iraq to give the people of those nations freedom.
Thank you for your service. Thank you for our freedom Sergeant and your willingness to give it to us even the Psyco ones among us.
