BAGHDAD, Iraq -- One 1st Armored Division soldier died from a non-hostile gunshot wound at a checkpoint in Baghdad at approximately 7 p.m. Nov. 4.

The soldier's name is being withheld pending next-of-kin notification.

The incident is under investigation.
