WW II KIA & MIA & Wounded list web sites

This web site list KIA, POW and wounded Marines, Navy & CG
during WWII. Click on State, then they are alphabetical
They are .GIF format and are slow to load... will take some hit and miss to
find the right surname... info may be useful for verifying purple heart.

State Summary of War Casualties from
World War II for
Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard Personnel

WW II Army and Army Air Forces Personnel by State & County
Web site below shows KIA & MIA only... not wounded

Here's another great site to search for WWII casualties for any branch of service. The site has info from the Mexican War to the Vietnam War. This site is easy to use and lists lots of info pertaining to the soldier, the date of death, state of record, and medals awarded.

Remember Pearl Harbor
