A CH-46 "Sea Knight" assigned to the "Dragon Whales" of Helicopter Combat Support Squadron Eight (HC-8) transports ammunition between the Washington and the Military Sealift Command (MSC) ship USNS Supply (T-AOE 6) during a vertical replenishment (vertrep) operation. Washington is homeported in Norfolk, Va. and is on a six-month deployment conducting combat missions in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Southern Watch.
