A B-52H of the 20th Bomb Squadron "Buccaneers" from the 2nd Bomb Wing, Barksdale, Louisiana, approaches a second KC-135R Tanker assigned to the 100 Aerial Refueling Wing at RAF Mildenhall, UK, to take on fuel. The B-52H took on 120,000 pounds of fuel from two KC-135Rs over the North Sea after dropping eight MK52 Mines in exercise Blue Harrier. Having departed Barksdale AFB, the B-52 refueled during its 22 hour non-stop round trip.
