An F/A-18C Hornet makes its final approach to make an arrested landing aboard USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72). The pilot of the Hornet will try to catch the #3 wire, the arresting cable the pilots aim for in a space of deck about 80 feet long. The Hornet is making its approach at about 135 knots.
