A C-141B Starlifter from McGuire Air Force Base, N.J., launches flares on its final pass over the "danger zone." The training exercise allowed loadmasters to use a new Plexiglas bubble to look for surface-to-air missile plumes and allowed aircrew members to practice evasive maneuvers.
