24 August, 1967. TonSonNhut Airbase to QuiNhon Airfield. Relieved from the $hit burning detail of the last two days for a flight to duty station with over 100 troops sitting on the floor of a C-130. No seats, no airline hostesses, and it was a no food flight to boot. Welcome to 'in country.' At least on the flight on the way back you could lay down and relax on your stretcher.
