Although we did see a few of these guys, it wasn't in the numbers that I recall. I guess this is a testimony to the fact that Vietnamese agriculture has become more mechanized. We did see some paddies being tilled by machines, and machines for sale in the towns. Something that we saw quite a bit of that we didn't recall seeing before were Brahma cattle. I assume these have been imported from India. Although we saw some of them being used as draft animals, most of them were grazing or being herded. I'm guessing the Vietnamese have acquired a taste for beef. Pass the nuoc mam, pardner.
