USS LST-662, a 2366-ton LST-511 class tank landing ship, was built at Ambridge, Pennsylvania. Commissioned in May 1944, she took part in amphibious operations in the Palaus, Subic Bay, and Okinawa during the remainder of World War II. LST-662 decommissioned in December 1945 and was sold in June 1946.
