The commissioned officers shoulder boards are piped with a single (junior officers) or a double (senior officers) yellow-gold braid.
The commissioned junior officers ranks are potporucnik (one gold star), porucnik (two stars), kapetan (three stars) and kapetan prve klase (four stars). The commissioned senior officers ranks are major (with one gold star), potpukovnik (two stars) and pukovnik (three stars).
