Subject: Casualty Report

1. For Operation Neptune the LCI(L) 91 ship's personnel consisted of four (4) officers and twenty-nine (29) enlisted men.

2. The four (4) officers have returned to the United Kingdom uninjured.

3. Twenty (20) uninjured enlisted men have reported in at Vicerage Barracks, Plymouth. Fifteen (15) of these men have been sent to Fowey and five (5) to QAB, Plymouth.

4. Marsoun, William, MoMM 3/c, was reported to have been transferred from the USS Samuel Chase to a near shore hospital, suffering from shrapnel wounds about the face.

5. The following names men have been unofficially reported on although Vicerage Barracks' records contain no information about them:

Caron, E.L., PhM 3/c, USNR, Aboard hospital ship. Hands burned.
Coffill, Alozy D., Cox. Aboard hospital ship. Shrapnel wounds in leg.
O'Malley, John D., SC, 2/c Aboard hospital ship. Face burns.

6. Unofficial reports indicate that the body of Fritz, Leslie, Sea 1/c was found on the beach.

7. The following named men are still unreported:

Atterberry, James, GM 1/c Face burns. Last seen on beach.
Johnson, Ernest, Sea 1/c Last seen on beach.
Wilczak, Stanley, RM 3.c
Wolfe, Bernard, Sea 1/c
