Overview: About 20,000 Zulu warriors destroyed a British regiment near the great rock of Isandhlwana. Of the 1,800 British troops engaged only 55 survived. Zulu leader Cetewayo immediately moved his army into Natal after the battle where they fought the British again at the famous battle of Rorke's drift.
