USS Natalia, a 55-foot motor patrol boat, was built at Stamford, Connecticut in 1909 as a pleasure craft. She was taken over by the Navy in May 1917 and apparently entered service in the First Naval District during that year. However, she subsequently proved unsuitable for naval service and was returned to her owner in July 1918.
