Air War Over North Viet Nam; The Vietnamese People's Air Force 1949-1977, by Dr. Istvan Toperczer, Squadron/Signal Publications, 1998. A book prepared from information provided by the Vietnamese People's Air Force. In some cases this book admits to Vietnamese losses that were not officially credited to US pilots.
Clashes; Air Combat Over North Vietnam 1965-1972, by Marshall L. Michell III, Naval Institute Press, 1997. An excellent supplement to the above mentioned books.
One Day Too Long; Top Secret Site 85 and the Bombing of North Vietnam, by Timothy N. Castle, Columbia University Press, 1999. A good source of information concerning the events at Lima Site 85 on January 12, 1968.
North American F-100 Super Sabre, by David Anderton, Osprey, 1987. Contains information relative to action of April 4, 1965.
