Constituted 22 November 1948 in the Organized Reserve Corps as the 180th Transportation Truck Company

Activated 7 December 1948 at Grand Rapids, Michigan

Reorganized and redesignated 23 March 1950 as the 180th Transportation Heavy Truck Company

(Organized Reserve Corps redesignated 9 July 1952 as the Army Reserve)

Reorganized and redesignated 10 April 1953 as the 180th Transportation Company

Ordered into active military service 11 November 1990 at Grand Rapids, Michigan

Location changed 1 December 1990 to Muskegon, Michigan

Released 16 May 1991 from active military service and reverted to reserve status
