Inactivated 6 January 1946 at Fort Lawton, Washington

Converted and redesignated 1 August 1946 as the 1980th Transportation Corps Truck Company

Redesignated 19 April 1948 as the 251st Transportation Truck Company; concurrently allotted to the Organized Reserve Corps

Activated 29 September 1948 at Kenton, Ohio

(Organized Reserve Corps redesignated 9 July 1952 as the Army Reserve)

Reorganized and redesignated 2 June 1953 as the 251st Transportation Company

Location changed 17 September 2002 to Saginaw, Michigan
