Constituted 27 August 1942 in the Army of the United States as the 110th Signal Company

Activated 9 September 1942 at Camp Carson, Colorado

Reorganized and redesignated 15 July 1943 as the 110th Signal Platoon and assigned to the 10th Light Division (later redesignated as the 10th Mountain Division)

Reorganized and redesignated 6 November 1944 as the 110th Mountain Signal Company

Inactivated 15 November 1945 at Camp Carson, Colorado

Redesignated 18 June 1948 as the 10th Signal Company

Allotted 25 June 1948 to the Regular Army

Activated 1 July 1948 at Fort Riley, Kansas

Reorganized and redesignated 1 July 1957 as Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 10th Signal Battalion (organic elements constituted 14 June 1957 and activated 1 July 1957 in Germany)

Inactivated 14 June 1958 at Fort Benning, Georgia

Activated 1 February 1986 at Fort Drum, New York
