Operation Choke Hold (30 December 2003)

On December 30, 2003, the 1st Armored Divison launched Operation Choke Hold in Baghdad to stop the influx of IED making materials into the city. Soldiers set up numerous checks points and blocked alternative routes in order to stop and search cars.
