[1]Coalition forces kept the pressure on anti-Iraqi force leaders by conducting Operation Gimlet Silent Sniper in July 2004. Troops from Task Force 1-21 Infantry and Task Force 1-27 Infantry engaged in multiple searches and raids looking to capture or kill cell leaders in Kirkuk. At least two individuals were detained.
