Camp George is managed by the 20th Support Group and is dominated by family apartments, the Department of Defense School, Child Daycare Center, and a AAFES Shoppette. Taegu American School serves all grades Kindergarten through High School. Camp George is tucked within the Taegu Korean community, just a short walk from Camp Henry. Camp George was named after Pfc. Charles George, who received the Medal of Honor during the Korean Conflict. |
