Termination of pregnancy is a term for abortion. Abortion in Poland is legal, but very restrictive. This is only possible in a few circumstances. Until recently, this was allowed when the fetus had extremely severe malformations. Unfortunately, this was changed on 22 October. The Constitutional Tribunal ruled that abortion is inconsistent with the Constitution of the Republic of Poland. This has caused many people to wonder what the term even means.
