Hears a interesting item on Jeff Gordon,
There are two practice session yesterday before qualifying, Yesterday Jeff was a also-ran during practice, when they go out to qualify they they have to go threw the NASCAR "inspection" .
Somehow when Jeff steps out on the track to qualify he gains 4 mph, Now 4 MPH don't seem like much but its the difference between being an also-ran in the middle of the field, to being sitting on the pole for todays race. His fastest time yesterday would have put him 42 in the field of 43? HUUUUm.
Inspections used to be open to view, now there closed to viewers.
Now I don't really blame NASCAR, after all, having Gordon and Jr win brings in Millions to NASCAR so its only natural for them to want, and to help, Jr and Gordon to win, Matter of fact, I would do the same thing if I was Mike Hilton. That don't make it "fair" . Some people need a little more Fair than others. Phoenix International Raceway, should be a good race.

Ole Jeffy about took off Cousin Carls rear bumper on the restart and while being intv later is almost bragging about lifting the 99 car's rear wheels off the ground ..... Not very sporty of Gordo! Denny Hamlin did well passing Gordo on the final lap and put Gordo mathamatically out of winning the championship all in all a good race for Kevin Harvick's team Jimmy Johnson needs trouble next weekend and finish 13th or worse for Denny Hamlin to be the first rookie to have a chance of winning Rookie of the Year and Cup Champion the same season or for Kevin Harvick to be the first driver to get both the Busch and Cup Championship the same season. Both would be great Milestones in Stock Car racing history
