Michigan, best seats in the house are as far away from the track as you can get. The farther up the bleachers the better view you get but if your at the top you can see every bit of the track but still the best seat is on an easy chair with the VCR remote in your hand to FF through the commercials. I'll hit record at 2:00 for the pre-race and stand for the anthem but then I'll probably take a nap and watch the tape later.
M.I.S. is the last place that I was called "sum kindah commmuuunisstt" by the red-neck in the row ahead of us when I asked my buddy why that "The King" guy in #43 didn't retire when he couldn't get out of ninth place, but that was two years before King Richard finally did retire. Michigan. One of the great tracks.

Last time I was at Michigan I sat wear the arrow is . The stands in the box were not there.
Great place to party, we got there 3 days before race and parked the motor home in the infield and partyed . I was kinda glade to leave so I could get some sleep and recover. Ron |
