Let's play a little game of "What IF?!" Imagine for a moment that our mentality has been thrust back into a time of political independence? True independence, and not some "Peroite Party Primer, Democratic-Republicanism, or habitual brainwashing at the hands of a politically controlled media!" Let me ask you a few little questions, now that your brain has been deloused of all politically correct (or not) illusions, as well as those gremlins implanted by spin doctors, vacillating me-ists, and of course, the crap for brains planters of day dreams, as well as the ever-present smoke screens and shitty shorts merchants within certain bureaucracies!! --------------------------------------------------------------------- A- Is President Bush really capable of extricating our slowly dying economy from the flaming pits of international oblivion? B- Will Governor Gray Davis (California) survive (politically) this recall of discontent? C- Does President Bush "REALLY BELIEVE THAT IRAQ HAD WMD, OR THAT AFRICA WAS SUPPLYING URANIUM, OR THAT North Korea HAD 6 OR MORE BIG BOMBS WAITING TO BE USED ON US OR OUR ALLIES? This would be a damned dangerous game, if it were played by (the Former) N. Korea!? D- Did anybody in California really believe that our schools would benefit from the "State Lottery", or that by tripling the price of tags, the State deficit would ease-up a bit? E- Does anyone believe that the U.S. Deficit will ever stop climbing, at least after the point when we have bankrupted our economy to fight a hundred little brush wars, 3/4 of the way around the world, or have gifted international deadbeats with "Countless Billion$ in U.S. Taxpayer's-Paid Money?" F- Does anyone serious believe that the United Nations, Germany, Russia, France, Belgium, Canada and Mexico are "Born Again Allies? G- Does anyone believe that the Justice League, along with Superman, Batman and Robin, the Green Hornet, the Hulk, and Mighty Mouse, will come along, like the U.S. Calvary, to save the day? -------------------------------------------------------------- Well, where were these super-heroes when the British Stormed the Colonies, the Mexican Army Stormed The Alamo, the Spanish Sunk the Maine (Maybe), the Brits were booted off of Dunkirk, the Japs hit Pearl Harbor, or the NVA raced into Saigon! Surely they weren't all out flying for their own Air Guards, or figuring out a way to take over the world from Brussels or New York City (UN)?! These would all be helluva good questions, especially, if for a brief moment, we could all dump partisan politics, as well as pre-conceived and bogusly sanitized idea - and thereby say what we really and honestly feel, just like it was during the original U.S. elections - a time when the gent with the most voted became President, and the runner up was made the Vice President, regardless of political party! "Back in a day and age, when being the American and the Patriot came first, and the overall good of the American People, regardless of wealth or position, was mandate #1!? "This piece should really raise some "Hell & Hackles", if it is not spun to death by those with the most to lose (or gain) in damned short order!? "Let's give it a shot!!" VERITAS :cd: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
