Jail vs. Pauperization?

With some of the corporate thugs exposed, and the harm that they have brought to America by their greed, I'm of the humble opinion that the appropriate punishment, after being found guilty, of course, is to pauperize the bastards, to the total amount of what they stole, plus court costs. Take everything away from them - make them live on the street if necessary. I don't want one dime of my tax dollars feeding them in a federal pen. It is their pride and arrogance that turned them into criminals, so I say attack their pride by making them beggars.
