Today was my mom's 30th day in the hospital since early June. She is doing well. Her knee is better, and there isn't any sign of any more blood clots. She is on an heavy duty antibiotic though...I finally found a skilled nursing facility for her. It was hard, as most were full. The ones that were left had bad records. I used www.healthgrades.com to get reports. It looks like she will be there the next 3 - 4 weeks. Just curious... does anyone know what the cost of transporting someone in an ambulance over about 700 mils or so would be ? My sister says she might want my Mother to go to North Carolina to go to a nursing home there when it becomes necessary. She is a nurse.....
