I haven't checked this thread for a couple days. I can't believe these guys are still giving you a bad time. I think I take the same little pink pill that you do but I already have breasts so I hope it doesn't enhance them, just regulate blood pressure. Rev Doc - I want to see the cartoon. I like what Garfield is saying. I've always thought he was one smart cat. Raggedy Ann |

Just a little advise, take it or leave it. Go somewhere that has a BP cuff, Take your BP, also take a aspirin, 1 regular strength Aspirin, One hour later take your BP again, If its lower the second take, Get a different DR. Ron ps I tried to help Rev but he never even answered my PM |

Ron,
Ron,
I was sent to a cardiologist for an artery scan. I was sent to a urologist to check on my kidneys and he had an MRI done. They have done an EKG. I've been getting multiple opinions. From a variety of Docs. I take an aspirin every morning, have been doing that for years. It's the sudden spike in BP that has them puzzled. The plan is to put me on a bata blocker for a couple of weeks and then take me off. They seem to think that during the Mt Adams climb my kidney's got stressed (not only by exercise but I also got a little dehydrated) and my computer got stuck on a higher Blood Pressure reading because I'm an older man. The blood pressure has dropped back to nearly normal. I take my own blood pressure. My readings are almost identical to the nurses and docs, so I know there was a problem. Doc said there are two more tests that could be taken. A CAT scan and a heart stress test. But, they don't think they would show anything at this time. Keith |

Computed Axial Tomography is a very good thing but its one step in finding the problem. Ask your Doc about EBT technology. Im certainly not saying I know even 100th what the Doc knows, but a fast onset of High BP is most always caused by a block. Some times a CT or a CAT scan don't show. The Aspirin thins the Blood, thats why I said that, You already are doing it so that also says Blockage. A heart strees test? I guess you mean a thaliuim stress test, if not ask about this also. I'll shut up and let the Doctor do his job. Ron |
