I'll try anything once, except cherries. Lamb was a tough one for me. Not because they were such cute fluffy things, but because of the awful smell when it's cooking. I found out it tastes about as good as it smells.

Talking Jane, . ,

Jane I assume your heritage doesn't come from the Balkans, Turkey, Greece, or you aren't Jewish. Those nationalities eat lamb all the time.

When they sold my little lamb to the Greeks in the city, my taste for lamb went down hill. I never did care for mutton or lamb. I'd rather eat venison or goat.

We had a family in our church that had moved from Kenya. They had a little five acre farm and raised goats. They ate goat all the time. We'd go out and have dinner with them every so often. I didn't care for goat (a lot like strong venison) but they put so much curry and other hot spices on it you could hardly taste it. My wife liked it but I didn't care for east African cooking.

Jane

That was the wool burning!!! You have to shear 'em before you cook 'em. Someday I'll have to cook you a boned & rolled leg of lamb with garlic and rosemary. It tastes great and if your worried about the smell I'll give you a warm brandy to drink first.

Philly

If you only eat familiar food you will never develop a taste for the exotic. Snake, kangaroo, squid, octopus, snails, cats & puppies.

You have a disgustingly warped sick humor, just like me! I'm so proud of you "brother."
