![]() Grenades were always dangerous to carry . Way back during the Vietnam war there were accidents . I remember coming back from a patrol and one of the troops had lost the
grenade body but the spoon was still behind the canvas belt with the shiney blasting cap exposed. I remember another very bad accident . A grunt was carrying a WP grenade and it was hit by hostile fire and went off. Good for the IDF in making a touchey but useful weapon just a little safer. |
