“Don’t you ever get tired of business as usual?” The empty political promises, the denigration of all who pose a threat (real or perceived) to personal ambition, and most of all, the blatant lies that flow like manure from an over-ripe political goose – apparently not?

Because if you did, you would not continue to buy the same old and worn-out dogma that is currently flooding out of the odiferous sewers of politics! “The time was, after all, when a person was only as good as their word, and that was an age when personal honor was a credo to live by!”

If truth no longer matters to some in politics, and you vote for bogus personalities rather than ability, then I ask you to consider this: “Is this the kind of society that you want to leave to your children and their children after them? And for the record, just how long do you really think that we can all get away with political farce before we too end up upon the scrap-heaps of history?

Remember, the ancient Greeks and Romans also thought themselves eternal, and well they could have been, had it not been for making the very same political mistakes, over and over again! And for the historical record, you might just be surprised at just how similar they were (in a great many ways) to what we are today! Arrogance, complacency and ego, like pride alone, also goeth before a fall!
