I remember back to those golden years of television when naught but truth and facts ruled the airways! Back to the time of people like Milton Berle, Walter Cronkite, Red Skelton, I Love Lucy and all the rest of those entertaining shows that kept us glued to our seats, instead of having to journey down to the local movie theater or barroom every ‘Saturday Afternoon!’

Nowadays, however, many of us have become literally addicted to all of the “B.S. and Self-Promotion that is being offered-up upon the old tube and this, instead of settling down in that comfortable old lounge–chair with a steaming cup of hot tea and a good book to keep us company, while the sound of rain-drops played a mesmerizing-melody upon the roof-tops above our dozing little heads! Ah, those good old days of yore!

Of course, there is a lot to be said for modern technology and the wonders of this brave new world of ours! But even at that, the bugaboos of life today, continue to haunt and to plague the lives of mankind, until that day finally arrives when humanity gets the job done right and finally (once and for all) obliterates itself from the face of this planet (Not a pleasant thought, now is it?)

But what the ‘Hell’ – mankind has been on a collision-course with self annihilation ever since he first learned how to turn his grunts and groans into an audibly-understandable language that could adequately display his intentions to blow his ever-loving backsides into the next dimension - and so it is, even as we speak!! “Smarten-up, or self-destruct!!” “TRUMP – 2024!!”
