![]() The ship is on display at the head of Mobile Bay. tHE "Lucky A" has been there now since 1964/5. Fort Morgan is 40 miles to the south at the Gulf of Mexico. I work on board the ship in Operations. It is a real treat to work on such a fine battleship and to get lost in the rich history of our Pacific Fleet during WW2.
