The news has it that some 50 Iraqi Tanks are being blocked, in (and around) Basrah by the British Navy, and that within 24 hours, humanitarian aid will begin to arrive in Iraq. But what of the costs in human terms? ?The triumphs of war are not free, and often, the price of peace is a bloody, though necessary tab indeed!

According to Fox News figures, our forces have, thus far, lost 20 gallant troopers - 10 to enemy fire, and 10 by accidents.

At the same time, some 500 Iraqi combatants have been killed in but the last two days alone!! The number of Iraqis who are uselessly ?Dying For Hussein?s Morbid Ambitions? will increase today, as another ?1400 Coalition Air Sorties? are planned!

Also worthy of note is the fact that Hussein has issued orders to unleash chemical (and maybe even biological) weapons upon our troops in the field, and with this insanity, Saddam has personally signed the death warrants of thousands of Iraqis, should they be misguided enough to carry out, what could be, the final order of the ?Beast of Baghdad!??

For the record, and according to figures that I was privy to on the tube, here are some casualty counts from other U.S. Conflicts:

In Gulf War I, we lost 148 of our brave men and women in combat situations.

We lost about 469 troopers a month in Vietnam, and about 909 a month in Korea.

In World War II, if the figures are correct, we lost 6,500 a month, and in the D-Day Invasions alone (starting 6 June, 1944), we lost 4,900 men! ?Heroes, one and all!!?

Despite all of the ?Boisterous Bull Shit? flowing out of the ears and asses of ?Saddam Hussein And His Malignant Mental Dwarfs?, he (Saddam) has no more chance of winning this war that a fart would have in an F-5 Super Tornado!! And worse yet, the crud knows it! ?He is, however, quite prepared to destroy his own people to earn his stripes in Hell!?

And speaking of Hades, Satan can always use two more bitches - and ?Saddam and Tariq already have mini-skirts custom made for them!!?
