A Peek At Panic?

I wonder if Duncan (Yo-Yos) has joined Murphy (as in Murphy?s Law) in screwing with the stock market? For a few years there, a great many people were making a bundle of dough $$in stocks, and it looked like it was peaches and cream everlasting! Lately, however, if it wasn?t for the ?War Against Terrorism? to keep our minds off of the slumping economy (Dow down over 50 points this morning alone), many more of us might be taking a longer peek at panic?

With things in Afghanistan and Iraq on the wind-down (we hope), and Korea and Syria vacillating a bit, the President has been turning his attentions to the economy.

Even as we speak, George Bush is appearing on the tube, talking to industry about his hopes (and plans) for jump-starting American industry! And in my opinion, the War Against Terror is not the only war that we are presently engaged in!?

We are also at war with a new regime of diseases, the ever-present social ills, and yes, even a financial war is raging between many nations, all vying to unseat the top dog, the planet?s only super power - "We The People - The USA!"

The moves recently pulled off by France, Germany, Russia, Canada, Mexico etc., not to mention the United Nations as a whole, are geared (in my opinion) to pat us on the ass and pick our pockets at the same time!

The true friends of America (Coalition) are obvious, as is the lack of moral fiber of those lack-luster nations who recently sought to champion oil wealth over international security and harmony. The knives that some nations attempted to bury in our backs, however, are now sticking out of theirs! And like most world-class hypocrites, they now seek to assure us that it was all an unfortunate mistake? We misunderstood their intentions, they claim - they were with us all the time, they say! ?Yeah, and so was Hussein, Castro, Mao and Stalin too?? (Bull Shit!!)

In our over two hundred years of trial, error, pain, tears and blood, we fulfilled the impossible dream, and it wasn?t always easy either! As a matter of fact, at times it was damned painful, but the United States has never been a quitter!

Granted, there will always be those, even here in America, who lie, swindle, cheat and betray (Nothing is perfect)! And granted again, a few of those who conduct themselves thusly, do gain financially and in power. But the real bread and butter, the backbone, the morally sound demeanor, and the unshakably determination that build our nation, has always come through in trying times to save the day!

We will always shake ourselves free of the user, the contorted and the selfish! They come and they go, but we learn from our errors and we will not be detered or led around by any international entity(s) who seeks to gain by eroding what we truly stand for! We may be shaken at times, but like any true champion, we arise anew, stronger, more determined and far more dangerous to those who mean us harm!
