The Origins of Political Correctness

We can blame PC on the left and we would be correct. However, the right wing has gotten on the band wagon. The right is pushing for school books to eliminate not only the word fossil but the entire concept of fossils in public school books. Apparently some fundamentalist zealots are almost believing the world is flat and do believe dinosaurs never really did exist.

As far as the left goes, they are getting worst everyday. For about 20 years one of the most popular stories for 3rd graders to read was about three little kids (a black, a white and an asian - at least one of them a girl), all working/playing together to build a snowman. Now the story is being altered or deleted because snowman is a bad word, it?s sexist.

In law, one might urge the court to take a foolish proposition to it?s illogical conclusion. Thus, showing how ridiculous the argument is. Our problem: there isn?t a judge and the inmates have taken over the asylum.
