HUGE minor league brawl yesterday in Dayton.

17 players ejected from the game.

During the melee the pitcher (#32) tries to hit somebody in the dugout with the ball.
Ball goes high, misses the dugout and hits a fan.

Fan is ambulanced to the hospital, and the pitcher leaves the field in handcuffs, charged with felonious assault.

Pretty sad.

What are the fines for the individual players ??
What would their suspensions be ??
Does also the club gets fined ??

Not to be outdone by Candace Parker and the ladies of the WNBA, the Class Low-A Midwest League Peoria Chiefs and Dayton Dragons got into a massive on the filed fight which resulted in the ejection of 15 players and two managers. One player faces felony charges.

A Foriegn guy pitching in the USA should be against the law to begin with.

But I only live 14 miles away from this BASEBRAWL and I hear and see it on the NEWS every day now, and am sick and tired of it.

For instance::

Where are the American names on the roster that they have ( per say ) Johnny Bench, Pete Rose etc etc, Ted Williams You know where I am coming from,

Why allow these persons that are not from America into the game to begin with.

Think about it, WHY do they call the end of the series where two teams met the qualified specs to plays in the " World Series "????

I can think only one team being out of the USA and that would be the Mapleleafs.

Why dont they call the world series, "The Kings of Baseball" or anything besides the World Series?

BTW, That OUT OF COUNTRY piture ( sp) was in court yeaterday and held under $50,000.00 bond for Felonious Assault. And his passport was held....

Piss me off, heck yes..

Take your grandson to the Great American Game, and see that kind of crap happen.
