Big Brother Was A Minor Leaguer!

George Orwell?s legendary (?) character of ?Big Brother?, in his novel ?1984?, may not have been as far-fetched as you would want to imagine? At least according to AP and a story that is slated to appear upon a talk show tonight!

The individual airing the story this evening, is a person that you either love or hate! A commentator that has a penchant for getting under one?s skin, and in my opinion, it would make no difference if this colorful character was alone on the set, as this individual seems to relish their own (often) vested little oratory! As much so in fact, as he (or she) loves engaging in heated and often knowledgeable debate!

?Well, everyone is entitled to their own (and this person?s) opinion, and more often than not, this individual seems to hit the nail squarely upon the head!?

Although the program has not yet aired, it is reported that this ?Genuine Firebrand? will compete tonight against Florida alligators, Putin?s denial of ?Iran?s Nuclear Weapons Program?, and the Democratic push to encompass the ?Ailing Economy and Homeland Security? into their 2004 election campaign!

Speaking of ?Homeland Security?, and although having no advanced knowledge of tonight?s program, one point that is scheduled to be aired, at least according to the media, is the deployment of ?Super-Snooper Devices!?

These Electronic Bugs, placed within one?s personal automobile, can keep tabs upon your every move, your every word, and even your every belch! ?If this is true, then how far behind can it be before even your very thoughts are monitored and/or controlled, as electro-magnetic impulses of course?? Hey, this was done before (1955-1967), during a top-secret program (now declasified), know as (MK ULTRA/DAIG IN 21-75)!

And if you are Catholic, beware of the confessional, as the audacity of some in power seems to have no limits, and this of course, could even get a lot more priests in big trouble!? LOL

With the USSR gone (for all intent and purpose), and China still immersed (at least partially) in the 1900s, I have always felt that we should be vigilant in assuring that yet another ?Reich, Regime or Dynasty (even a Goebbelistic Media Dynasty)?, does not emerge here in America to take it?s place! And although most of our population is law-abiding, patriotic, American to the core, and has nothing earthshaking to hide, this still ?DOES NOT? give government the right to invade one?s personal life and privacy! ?Unless of course, there is an agenda afoot here??

Granted, gathering intelligence on bad guys is essential to National Security, but when a government, any government, utilizes (begnin) personal opinion, a momentary outburst of anger (The Philip Nolan Analogy), or personal debate and inquiring conversation or discussion, to destroy it?s self-perceived political enemies, then the line should and must be drawn!

When an individual (any individual), feels that he (or she) is the answer to all of our ills, and claims to be the deliverer of our salvation by any and all means at their affluent disposal, I begin to see visions of ?1939 Europe!? And as far as I know, the ?Second Coming? is still in the future?

I am sure that this ?Discretionary Bugging? of one?s car, body and home (all rooms perhaps), is deemed necessary by the all-powerful few, in an effort to the fight terrorism? But will it stop there, and ?ARE YOU SURE?? Sure enough in fact, to bet your freedom and liberty upon it!?

?Is this paranoia? - Damn, I hope so! But instead of jumping the gun, we will just have to wait and see what that other ?Super Ego? has to say on TV tonight!
