Talking Elk Hunting

Well its my last day at work before heading over by Keith's to go Elk hunting. I'm using a .54 cal Hawkins by Thompson Center . Loaded with 100 grains of FF2 blackpowder and pushing 425 grains of buffloe bullet. All I need now is to get within 100 yards of a cow elk I drew a cow tag for the Teanaway area of eastern washington it a very big area about 35 miles by 35 miles square with alot of rugged terrain but the elk seem to like the power lines and farm feilds so it might not be too hard to pack one out. I have been practicing my elk call as they are in full rut right now and where you find a bull you are sure to find a herd of cows. I also could shoot a spike elk if i choose too. I meet up with Griz and Keith tommorrow night please wish us luck. thanks
