I don’t hunt, but have no issues with those that choose to do so. Actually I find fire arms history very fascinating and rather tells the saga of man fleeing from tyranny or forcing tyranny. I wouldn’t know a 300 savage from another high velocity rifle, but can make some assumptions about muzzle velocity and accuracy, which have to get fantastic. I have an admission to make, I just ordered a Remington A70, 12 Ga pump. Mean -ass shotgun, similar to the Remington military ‘trench.’ No mo no mo, Hispanic gang kick-ins are becoming a usual threat around northern Nevada, so I have no problem with a firearm that that puts them over the goal post of next Wednesday, none at all. Seems like the A70 is the right stuff. I’m told that a high base magnum 00 is the kick-ass deal., so will assume so until otherwise advised.
