Dear DD & 39 etc.
My cousin's are 2 star Gen Roy Gordon Australian Army (deceased) and 1 star Gen Lindsay Gordon Australian AF, my dad is Major Carl Erickson USAF. I've been reading this thread and I ask for all to "knock it off" They all have total respect for each others service.

If I was ever to ask of an allie that we as American's can count on, the Australian’s are ONLY ones we can count on !!!!

British We beat there ass in 2 wars and saved there ass in two more, don’t even ask me to discuss the French !!!

The Aussie is a far better fighter than most people realize ...

If Australia had the population ...then I would wonder what military might we could have.
In all honesty as a small populated Country, Australia does very well in the world, even our enemies respect us

Her name was Rosa and I dated her when I was at Ft Sam Houston. She drank all the Lone Star Beer and could yodel both in the polka style and the hillbilly style.

Yeah, San Marino sounds good. Their military complement is 13,500 which includes a Military Ensemble of 50 musicians and a Crossbow Corps of 80 bowmen.
