Illegal Immigrants Caught In Fake TV News Truck POSTED: 2:09 p.m. EST October 31, 2003 UPDATED: 2:22 p.m. EST October 31, 2003 Authorities arrested a group of illegal immigrants in Arizona who were being smuggled into the country inside a Ford Explorer painted to look exactly like a KPNX-TV news truck, according to a Local 6 News report. Video Illegal Immigrants Caught In Fake News Truck Border Patrol agents got a tip that the migrants were being harbored at a home and then driven to Phoenix in a fake news truck. Agents said 10 illegal immigrants were found getting into the truck at one time. Two unidentified drivers were arrested and charged with smuggling the people.
