To the American Public, anything that takes more than a week is a "Quagmire". They're like children in the back seat of the car on the way to Grandma's............"DADDY....ARE ....WE....THERE....YET!

It's not the time that's a concern.

It's the daily deaths of American troops.
It's the reasons we were told we were going to war.
It's the no exit plan.
It's the no plan beyond shock-n-awe.
It's the "mission accomplished" statement.
It's the "end of major combat" statement.
It's the rubber turkey on Thanksgiven photo-op.
It's the costs the American tax payers are enduring.
It's the open borders in Iraq.

Please, don't expect me to have the answers. It was Bush who created this mess and he has no answers.

Well, now it's time to do what Spain did. Elect a new leader. A leader that will go after those that attacked us and anybody like them, as well as those that harbor them.

It won't be easy to do while bogged down in this quamire in Iraq.

Are we winning the war on Terror yet?

It was/is a long and tragic deadly history of terrorist attacks against our troops and civilians which "caused this"... period.

The problem I see is people in this country spreading poison, on the Internet and in the press. It is very easy to sit back and pick apart a plan, any plan, of action.

Your above response shows how little you know of military history. The statement about American protesters was made in the 1980's, hard to imagine it being a political agenda to boost their own troops morale.

All this Bush bashing and not once have I heard you speak the truth. The truth that all Bush has done, as far as Iraq is concern, is take action on the policies that the Clinton administration set.

Iraq refused to meet UN demands for over a decade. I think it was time for action. I suppose you and your kind would have rather sat back and continued to make proposal after proposal until the cows come home.

It was proved last week that the three main opponents to the invasion, France, Russia and the UN were all receiving kick backs from Iraq.

Could a Gommer Pyle looking presidential candidate be involved in something like this?

The old saying "Thou protest too much" keeps ringing in my ears.

I agree, it was time for action. They were violating United Nations Resolutions and therefor the United Nations should have enforced their Resolutions. Nobody left Bush in charge of enforcing their Resolution. That wasn't the reason we sent 150,000 troops storming into Iraq. It was because of WMD and threat of an attack coming in the form a mushroom cloud.

He woulda neva got the suppport from Congress had he said it was for UN Resolution violations.

And they knew that!

I am in total support of the war on Terror.
I fail to see where Iraq fits in that war.
