Default War In Haiti?

I could see it coming, when the United States sent U.S. Marines into Haiti last month.
Sure, it was bound to happen.. U.S. Marines shot and killed six Haitians in the past week, and today a U.S. Marines was wounded in the Haitian capitol.. Port-AU-Prince.

Now I see starting.. we will shoot and kill a few more, and they will shoot and kill a few more Marines. We will send in more troops and before we all know it there will be another battle on the war front.

I honestly do not think Haiti has enough military significance for the U.S. to send in many more troops.

Default A Perfect Place

Haiti would be a perfect site for the experts at the United Nations to demonstrate their profound grasp of and experience in nation-building. And since there are no AlQaeda threats currently in this eastern end of Hispaniola, even Spain could be invited in to assist, and maybe they won't run away this time.

Better yet, let's just move the entire UN to Haiti, as this pitiful non-banana quagmire could use the industry (if one can call pompous international bureaucrats an industry - that's almost an oxymoron in and of itself). After all, it would be eye-opening to those worthless parasites to live in a land of occasional potable water, occasional electricity, and occasional garbage collection.

Contrary to what some may be trying to pin on the US Marines, this quagmire is not their making; they are the unfortunate forces of authority and force necessary to preclude a spiraling down as occurred in Rwanda, another one of the stellar foreign policy success stories of the previous administration.

Ah, another burst of genius in the solutions department: in additon to deploying the entire UN to Haiti, let's also send Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton down there as Permanent Overseers Of Previous Extraordinarily Radical Solutions, POOPERS, to fix what they screwed up before.
