USS Midway memory
Of the very few close friends I lost during Vietnam, one of my closest friends was lost off the Midway.
Lt Mike Bixel was lost during an A-6 landing mishap. Midway is a special memory and I'm pleased that she lives on!

Rigger, I'll pass on your kind words to my shipmate when I make my final cruise.

Rigger,
It's regrettable for sure to loose friends. I've seen a few I knew get blown over the side and walk into props - its something that stays with you all you life.
