Default Moving Wall comes to Baton Rouge

The 3/4 scale moving wall is coming to Baton Rouge. I will be making a visit this weekend. Would anyone like to add any names to my list? I'll visit each name and say hello for you.

Default If You Could Add One More Name for Me:

Hi Chili Dog:

If you could find the time to visit one more name I would appreciate it very much. He was my Best Buddy while growing up and we were more like Brothers then good friends. He died just two days short of his twentieth Birthday on September 7, 1968. He was a Navy Hosptial Corpsman and was Posthumously awarded the Navy Cross for trying to save two Marines but was wounded during the attempt. He was then evacuated to the Hospital Ship "Sanctuary" where he died a couple of weeks after being wounded. His loss still bothers me terribly, even after more then thirty-five years.

Name: HM3 Alan R. Gerrish

Unit: 3rd Military Police Battalion--H&S Company--Med
Department

Panel: 45 West--Last name on the Right hand side of the panel, about four or five rows up from the bottom.

To all of my other Vietnam Veteran Brothers and Sisters I again state:

WELCOME HOME

VIETNAM 1968
