Kissing Our Enemy?s Backsides?

Ah yes, forgive and forget, but the dead remain dead and the enemies of yore often become the enemies of wars yet to be waged!

Name a past enemy of the United States, and I?ll show you a nation that is far better off today economically! Granted, we are still at war with a handful of nations, but while perusing the pages of history past, the names of those nations that attempted to obliterate us, now head the list of our well paid for friends, in many cases!

In the past, we have warred against the French, the English, Mexico, Spain, Germany, the Philippines (Huks), Japan, North Korea, Austria, etc., etc., etc. Hell, we have even killed each other by the Hundreds of Thousand, both in Civil War and in so-called peace! But I have noted, that many of those bastions that we spilled blood to liberate, now enjoy an economy as good, if not better than our own! The multiple despots of the world couldn?t beat us militarily, so now they are doing it economically, with population invasions, with the help of turn-coat (so-called) ex-patriot American corporation, and most of all, through Internationalist Politicos who hang their coats here, but pander to the interests of our pseudo allies!

And just how much are you paying for gasoline these days, how many military posts in your state have been closed down, education is downsized and nearly decimated, milk prices elevated to a point where it is almost cheaper to drink champagne, and millionaire State Governors still taking trips around the world at taxpayer expense!?

If there is one thing that we have no shortage of, it?s politicians telling us that recovery is just around the corner (Say in November), or coning us into believing that we never had it so good, and assuring us of what they are going to do for us (or is that to us), when (not if) they are re-elected to the Land of Free Milk & Honey! ?Hey, at least you have got to admire their optimism, if not their truthfulness and loyalty!?
