?POWER & RESPONSIBILITY?

With power, comes responsibility! I detest those who seek power for it?s own sake, and fail to realize [or accept] the consequences of their actions, or lack there of. Those damned fools to whom power in itself is a narcotic, and the results of their miscues often become someone else?s problem!

The old adage of ?The Buck Stops Here? is as archaic to space-age politics as is the bustle or spats. The ?Concept of Public Service? has been replaced by the ?Pretense of Absolute Power? for the sake of wealth and power alone. ?This, of course, inevitably translates into complete control!?

For instance, is it not any given political system that starts wars, but the people themselves who usually fight and die in them! This is not the [so-called] Dark Ages, after all, where kings heroically lead their armies into battle, but rather a period in which those who unthinkingly run their mouths and push their agendas, hide safely behind their armor plated desks, thousands of miles away from the scene of carnage!

Once upon a time, long, long ago, ?Power and Responsibility? were one in the same! The head of power also suffered the same fate or rewards [to a degree] as did his vassal extremities. There were no ?You Pay The Tab, and You Shed The Blood, While I Slobber Over The Spoil-isms!? All benefited, or all perished equally!

Nowadays, however, even though many in power would keep us blind to this reality, we exist upon a ?Giant Chessboard of State!? But at least it used to be [past-tense] our own chessboard!

This is, however, no longer the case, as the ?Super-Connected? have cleverly figured out ways to accomplish by deceit, maneuvering, and untruth, what no power could ever have accomplished through force of arms alone!

We have become a society that is [at least] partially controlled by foreign whim. Our [nearly] every move is approved or overruled by a ?Conglomeration of Foreign Governments?, many of whom have proven themselves to be ?World-Class Idiots!? Yet these failed systems arrogantly strut their stuff in the guise of a [so-called] United Nations. An organization that would rule and controls world destiny! [opinion]

When we joined this UN body, we offered our hand and our hearts in friendship, but unfortunately, a few international entities mistook our gesture of friendship as a weakness? And as such, some within the UN have continually sought to dictate and control even our own domestic affairs and security, through the use of indigent diplomacy and me-ism!

Was the United Nations a good idea on the face of it - I would have to answer yes to this. But like all other aspects of human behavior, there are [and always will be] those who seek absolute control. ?Weak little men, in fact, to whom a unity of lies serves them well!?

The United States is a classic example of the impossible dream that materialized into a
?Brilliant Star of Reality!? This miraculous transformation, however, was not without cost. Pain, sweat, blood, sacrifice, and courage were meticulously blended together to create what we are, and all that we will ever become.

Now, however, there are those who seek to digest us into a matrix of nothingness [UN]. They seek to absorb our identity and create a clone society into which we will be thrust and disseminated! But when one blends the workable with the iffy, or the self-decayed, the blend itself often suffers or expires!

?This is not a nationality issue?, as the United States itself is a wonderful example of how the best if all races can achieve something splendid. It is rather an ideological calamity - one in which we are surrendering our fate and future to the [so-called] United Nations. A world body that has proven [time and time again], that they are incapable or unwilling to accept the workable!

Let the United States lead by example, and not follow those international despots who would deceive and lie! ?Why, after all, do we need to be told what is [and what is not] in our own best interest or national security, especially by a group of alien nations, a few of whom are all but spent, morally, socially and ethically!?

Can we not just be a friend to the world without being the servant of their financial masters at the UN? The UN is, again in my opinion, a great starting point for dialogue and trust - ?a place in which to talk rather than shoot!? But when any nation bows before a group of vested mortals such as the United Nations, does not a penchant for abuse exist!?

Is this [UN] the ?Brave New World Order? envisioned by George Orwell, and reverberated by George Bush? All such (past) attempts at re-creating an ?Edenistic Oligarchy? have inevitably ended up in disaster! When but a single entity attempts to seize or maintain control, do not creatures like Caesar, Napoleon, Hitler or Stalin, inevitable surface? And if not them, then definitely the so-called United Nations - ?A SKUNK BY ANY OTHER NAME!!?

?Hail Kofi? (or whomever), just ain?t in the vocabulary of a free and independent nation
such as ours!!
