Bluehawk;
I'm really sorry to hear of your Father's death. I too have a problem staying awake. I sleep so much that I get tired of sleeping. Then I get up and go to this computer and join in my groups all the time listening to OTR. TV no longer interests me. Very few things I use to love doing no longer has meaning to me. Once or sometimes twice a year I get these things burnt off my head, arms, hands and back. You see, I can imagine some of what your father must have gone through. There are other things I'll not go into at this time.

The things that happened to your Father wasn't your fault. I can't even get the attention I need and want from the VA hospital. How can I hold my kid's responsible because they too don't understand me or the things I do.

God is with you Bluehawk. He's with us all.

Regards,
Travis

He met my mom through the USO at Crowder.

Her name was Alpha Marie Russell.

She was 16 and he was 19 when they hitched.

Bluehawk;
Hind sight is unbelievably past 20 X 20. I'm sure my kid's will say the same. I'm living now and I understand why my kid's think it is maybe all in my mind. This time they might be right, you know the saying, "Why I've Got A half A Mind To..." Well fortunately I've got more than 1/2 mind at this time. Never in a million years would I ever blame one of my kid's for not understanding my problems. They haven't walked that mile in my shoes yet.

Like you, one day they too will say, "I still believe there was something I could have done." Not so. My kid's aren't doctor's. If they were I'm sure they'd have more sense than the one's I've been seeing and at least try to look into my case a with a little more respect than these doctor's I have now do. But my kid's aren't doctor's. I don't hold them responsible for my mistakes. They'll make enough of them on their own.

Hang in there.

Kind regards,
Travis

You always help bro, you always help... this is my own problem I have not taken care of.... but I am grateful to you as I always am for everything you say and do.

Maybe someone will remember my Dad with honor.

I become disoriented in these discussions of this kind, so I strike out every which way...

I am so glad you said what you did.

You DO help, just by being by my side, I ask nothing more, and would never have expected this much.
