Talking I don't remember any of this.

I'm toooo young.

The local beers in the Northwest were: Rainier and Olympia.

Never did drink beer. Couldn't stand the smell of it.

Question Question?

Fellas,
It's no big deal,...but how do the rest of you get icons
or smilies on the message portion of the posting or reply?

Best I can ever do is to get such on The Title section,
just like now. Plus, can never get more than one.
If I go for another, it knocks out the first & replaces it.

Also, Rigger,...so when can I expect to get my long lost
and greatly cherished: "Chatty Cathy" back?
Sure never figured any Airborne types stealing her?

Neil

Neil,

To get smilies in your message, you just type in the code for the smilie that you want at the place in the message where you want it to appear.

A "laugh" smilie is a colon and a capital D.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and you will see on the left a box that says "Posting Rules".

Where it says "Smilies are On" click on the word "Smilies" and you'll get a window that lists all the codes for the smilies.

You can also click the smilies themselves to the right of the message box in the advanced reply view or the smilie face above the quick reply box to bring up a list of smilies. Clicking on any of these smilies will place them wherever your cursor is at in the message. If you have javascript disabled in your browser this may cause a problem with the automatic insertion in which case Steve's suggestion would be the best work around short of enabling javascript.

We had one of those aluminum trees for 1 Xmas then dumped it. For some reason it just doesn't spread the ol' holiday cheer.

Default I recall working in Saudi

We found a kaki cola (coca cola) just outside Jeddia where we could by coke by the case.
$2.00 for 24 bottles - bottle deposite was $60.00 for the glass and case. Shortage of glass there. Sand is too fine to make anything out of. They had to import sand to make concrete when I was there.
